Pac-12 Basketball Projects

The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the first time in 2013. I created all the graphics for this event, including web ads, sales collateral, game tickets, and environmental signage on the casino property. The ticket company I worked with had never used metallic foil on ticket stock before—we all really excited to see these come to life!

Additionally, each year at the Conference tournament, the Pac-12 inducted one former player from each school into the Hall of Honor. I was responsible for creating all materials for this event—invitations, programs, menus and signage. To create the look, I found inspiration in mid/mod artwork, giving the brand a vintage feel.

Before the 2014 season, the Conference hosted Basketball Media Day for all schools’ men’s and women’s teams at the Pac-12 Networks. At the event, players participated in photoshoots and interviews with a variety of media. I created all event materials with a call-back to the Conference’s theme for the year: A Blueprint for Success.

Not coincidentally, I also created the visual experience for the annual basketball tournaments. Ahead of the 2014 championship, I visited the MGM Grand casino and arena to explore additional opportunities for brand activations. But, alas, you’ll have to take my word for it. Seems my site and event photos have since vanished into the digital ether [audible sigh].
